As the world emerges out of the Covid-19 pandemic, governments must work with one another to build forward a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable global economy. Uneven and disjointed response and recovery efforts, coupled with the rise of inequality, conflict, and competing visions of world order, are dividing the global economy at a time when solidarity and cooperation are most critical. In this session, H.E. Kristalina Georgieva reflects on global developments and how governments can change the course of the global economy.
