H.E. Sayed Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari

Sayed Z Bukhari, Minister of State and Advisor to the Prime Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (TBC) A British-Pakistani, having grown-up in London and Islamabad, with roots in his rural ancestry home in Punjab, Sayed was appointed Minister of State and Advisor to the Prime Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development in September 2018. Sayed has played an active role in supporting leading Pakistani social causes, and is particularly close to some of the largest charitable projects in the country run by Pakistan’s Prime Minister, former cricketer, philanthropist and close friend, Imran Khan. Sayed’s latest project, currently under construction, aims to house over 100 destitute and orphan children in Pakistan in a purpose-built school campus with secure living facilities, his first such flagship project on the outskirts of Islamabad. Sayed Bukhari founded the Bukhari Foundation in 2017 to institutionalise his social and humanitarian efforts. Sayed has been recognised for his efforts and commitment to social issues and philanthropy both in the UK and Pakistan and is currently a Vice Chairman of The British Asian Trust – a leading UK-based charity, President and Founder HRH The Prince of Wales.
