Vincent Wong

Chief Executive Officer at IDA-International

Mr. Vincent Wong is the CEO of IDA International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) that serves as its executive arm in collaborations with foreign government. He is responsible for driving IDA International’s charter to help public agencies – from Asia, Middle East to Africa and Caribbean – deliver socio-economic outcomes enabled through public service infocomm. In his role, Wong advises government leaders and public administrators in the planning and execution of eGovernment. Prior to joining IDA International, Wong was a Partner at Accenture Singapore. Earlier in his career, he was an IT Strategy & Planning consultant for the Singapore Government, Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC), Overseas Union Bank, Korea Exchange Bank and Bank of Thailand. During early 2000s, Wong founded several start-up companies which invented, developed and marketed online payments solutions. A 24-year veteran of the consulting and ICT industry, he served as Honorary Secretary of IT Management Association – Singapore’s society for CIOs – from 2004 until 2011; and council member of Singapore Computer Society (SCS). He remains a Fellow of the SCS and an active member of the ITMA. Mr. Wong graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science and Information Systems).
